Hey, I'm Lau!

I’m a nervous system rehabilitation specialist with a background in the nutritional science of nervous system repair, the neuroscience of trauma, and frequency medicine.
I help people just like you to repair, rewire, and reset their nervous systems from chronic stress, anxiety, and trauma so that they can stop simply surviving and finally start thriving instead.
Why I do What I do
Growing up in a highly dysfunctional home, I learned early on to make myself as small as possible. My feelings? Rarely mattered. My role? To keep the peace and everyone else happy.
For most of my life, I felt like I was somehow too much and not enough—at the same time. Which felt not only confusing, but also so freaking exhausting.
I silenced my truth in order to stay safe and loved, but that silence came at the cost of never-ending overwhelming waves of anxiety and depression (also called anxious depression).
I had no clue how to navigate what I was dealing with at home. And although I did my best to cope with it all by doing endless hours of research about trauma and different healing modalities, it seemed as if no matter what I did and or tried, I'd always find myself back a square one again - feeling anxious, overwhelmed , and people pleasing just to find some sense of relief.
Until one day… the universe decided to give me the biggest most beautiful gift ever. I had a complete mental breakdown in every sense of the word and wound up spending a week in a crisis center, barely holding onto life.
Although that week was one of the hardest weeks of my life, it was also one of the greatest ones because it finally gave me the chance to speak my truth for the very first time.
I spoke more in those seven days than I had in my entire life. And for the first time, I finally had hope that maybe my life could be different - maybe I could heal and actually live the life that I'd always dreamed of having.
Within the year I was diagnosed with C-PTSD, OCD, and then I later found out that I had also been living with AuDHD, which were all huge shockers but also huge reliefs because they helped me to understand just how serious all of the symptoms I'd been dealing with were and just how strong I'd was in spite of how weak I felt.
I worked with therapists, somatic practitioners and received alternative medicine support as well. I dove even deeper into the study of trauma, and I learned everything I possibly could about the nervous system, neuroscience, polyvagal theory, and more.
It didn't happen overnight, and I had to work really hard along the way, but one day at a time I started healing. Today, I still have these moments of feeling so in awe of how far I've come. I feel so grateful that I had the strength within me to keep going in spite of the pain I had within me.
I'm not 100% symptom-free just yet, but thankfully, the symptoms I do have now are a walk in the park compared to what I was living with before.
So, if I can repair, rewire and reset my nervous system, if I can heal from things that I never thought I could, and if I can break free from constantly feeling like I'm stuck in survival mode - then I know that you can too.

I bridge science (polyvagal theory, the neuroscience of trauma, and the nutritional science of nervous system repair) with soul (voice activation exercises, somatic healing, and creative arts adventures).

Because I believe (and science backs it up) that when we mix in play and joy into our healing journeys, our nervous system learns safety and regulation at lightning speed.
My Professional Background
Before becoming a practitioner, I was first a researcher. In late high school, I fell in love with the idea that food and plants could help us heal—not just our bodies, but also our minds. After studying jazz voice and theatre, I realized I wanted to use my voice in a different way: to help people to heal through sharing what I'd learned.
That led me to studying holistic nutrition and to going on a never-ending learning adventure into all things nervous system, trauma recovery, gut health, hormones, and the magic of how our body + mind connect.
I had the chance to work in and manage the supplement departments of some of Montreal’s best health food stores (TAU, Rachelle Bery, Biodor Produits Naturels). I've trained others on thousands of products and natural health solutions. Later, I expanded my reach by working with e-commerce wellness brands like ShopCBD, Good Protein, and Queen of the Thrones—sharing my expertise with thousands more across the Americas.
Along the way, I was interviewed by Healthline and PopSugar for my knowledge of CBD and the nervous system and I hope to continue spreading all the knowledge that I've had the privilege to learn up until now.
